  • To a representative of a verified employer (collectively, “Entity Users”) that create an account with our Services for the purposes of collaborating with talent, hiring employees, storing and transferring information, communicating with current or prospective employees, and/or any other purpose otherwise described in this policy or on our Services.
  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Job Lasso’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Job Lasso about our Services users is among the assets transferred.

Text Message and Email Communications When you provide Job Lasso with your phone number and/or email address and opt in to receive information about job postings that you may be interested in, Job Lasso will send you recurring informational and marketing text messages and/or emails related to job postings and updates, including text messages that may be sent using an automated telephone dialing system. You may opt-out of marketing text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to a Job Lasso text message. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email. Job Lasso will also send you informational text messages and/or emails, which you cannot unsubscribe from as they contain important information about employment requirements and changes. Communications from Entity Users Our Services may allow you to receive job-related information from Entity Users, including to job postings, onboarding documents, and other communications. Job Lasso will provide your personal information to Entity Users as necessary to enable these communications.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent.
  • Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising. If you do not want us to share your personal information with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for promotional purposes, you can opt-out by sending us an email with your request to info@joblasso.com.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your personal information by sending us an email at info@joblasso.com to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

State Privacy Laws

We do not meet the conditions as outlined in Section 1798.140 of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”) and therefore are not subject to CCPA requirements. We also do not meet the eligibility conditions outlined in the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act, Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Utah Consumer Privacy Act, the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act, or the Florida Digital Bill of Rights and are therefore are not subject to the requirements of these laws. Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Services. Children Under the Age of 13

Acceptance of the Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are entered into by and between you and Job Lasso Co. (“Job Lasso” or “we” or “us” or “our”). These Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, the “Terms”), govern your access to and use of www.joblasso.com and its associated services (collectively, “Services”), including any content, functionality and services offered on or through the Services, whether as a guest or a registered user.

Please read the Terms carefully before you start to use the Services. By using the Services, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not want to agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Services.

The Services are offered and available to users who are 13 years of age or older and reside in the United States or any of its territories or possessions. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all the foregoing eligibility requirements.  If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Services.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your user name or password or any other breach of security.  You also agree to ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.  You should use particular caution when accessing your account from a public or shared computer, so that others are not able to view or record your password or other personal information.

We have the right to disable any user name, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by you or provided by us, at any time in our sole discretion, for any or no reason, including if, in our opinion, you have violated any provision of these Terms of Use.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Services and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Job Lasso, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

These Terms of Use permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services, except as follows:

  • Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
  • You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web browser for display enhancement purposes.
  • You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the Services for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Services:

  • In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation (including, without limitation, any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the U.S. or other countries).

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Job Lasso, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services, including, but not limited to, any use of the Services’ content, services, and products, other than as expressly authorized in these Terms of Use, or your use of any information obtained from the Services.

Geographic Restrictions

We provide the Services for use only by persons located in the United States. We make no claims that the Services or any of its content are accessible or appropriate outside of the United States. Access to the Services may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Waiver and Severability

No waiver by Job Lasso of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of us to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent, such that the remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.
